GET TO KNOW ME
Empowering People and Communities to Live Full and Rich Lives
I am passionate about supporting thriving, connection and growth. My own experience of personal growth through supportive alliances and relational practice has been transformational. Now I am privileged to support others on their personal journeys. At the heart of my work is the aim to facilitate reconnection to ourselves, our relationships and our environments.
In counselling, psychotherapy & supervision we work together to discover personal insights and then integrate that awareness to improve your way of dealing with the issues that occur in day to day living. Starting out my education in visual arts my therapeutic work is infused with creative processes. When not delivering psychotherapy I can be found splashing around in water or exploring a quite nature track.
I have been working with people for many years in community support organisations, govt agencies and private practice. Having worked in prison settings, drug and alcohol therapeutic communities and extensively with trauma and mental health issues. I am also a qualified remedial massage practitioner and work with somatic body centred practices. As a work place trainer & assessor and I run short courses in massage, meditation and various health & well being workshops. My therapeutic education includes: Diploma of Applied Science /Counseling, training in hypnotherapy, mental health, supervision, process oriented psychology, meditation, metaphysics and Laughter Yoga, a Graduate Diploma of Gestalt Therapy and Master of Gestalt Therapy.
